Spellings

Every week your child will bring some spellings home, some of these words can be quite challenging so pleae help your child to practise them regularly. The more practise they have the more confident they will feel and the more words they will learn!

Times Tables

In Maths this year there is a real focus on multiplication and division and using these facts to solve problems. It is so helpful for your child to have a secure knowledge of times tables and the assosciated facts. Helping them to practise and completing the times tables activities they are given. Try to use TT Rockstars to test your knowledge and practise your skills. Can you make it onto the TTRockstars Wall of Fame in the class room. Can you be the fastest?

Class Novel

We are currently reading The Girl Who Stole an Elephant by Nizrana Fahrook.

Reading

It is still really important that your child is still regularly reading their reading book. It helps develop their fluency skills and understanding.
